Introducing the Women Podcaster's Community!
The Women in Podcasting Directory is proud to announce the launch of the new
Women Podcaster's Community. In this community, you can add your pictures, share a little about
yourself, communicate with other women podcasters in the Podcaster's Forum and add events that
would benefit your fellow podcasters.
Please stop in, create a profile and get to know the other members of the
Women in Podcasting Directory. If you have friends that are interested in Podcasting
but haven't began podcasting yet, invite them to come in and ask questions, the more the
merrier.

Family Matters' duo celebrates 10 years
"Family Matters Radio" marks its 10th anniversary this month. The program is syndicated to stations in Toledo and Rhode Island, and distributed via GreenStone Media Network to some of its affiliate stations. GreenStone, headquartered in Seattle, distributes radio programs.
Hosts Caroline Kruse and Jacquie Chakirelis, feel no need to bash men or talk about sex. They started "Family Matters
Radio" because they loved talk radio, but felt that its overemphasis on sports and histrionics was shutting out women.
Their show -- heard on WFHM FM/95.5 "The Fish" and WHK AM/1420 -- discusses everything from autism to the best-selling book "Marley and Me" to the appeal of fantasy football. It includes interviews with national guests and e-mails from listeners.
"Family Matters Radio" airs from 6 to 8 a.m. Sundays on "The Fish," and 6 to 7 a.m. Sundays on WHK.

SMWD Podcast Celebrates One Year Anniversary

"Single Married Widowed Divorced is going to celebrate
it's one year anniversary! We are 3 women in their late 40s and
early 50s – not very savvy when we started, but oh, how we've
grown. Who knew what the hell bandwith was? We didn't. We do now!"
says co host Mel Miskimen.
